Experience:

I’ve recorded interview subjects many times for my podcast Everything Sounds, all of the pieces I’ve made, and for the tape syncs listed below. I know to look for dampened areas of rooms, stack pillows and close curtains if necessary, and where to place subjects to not have any reverberation or interference from other sounds. I’ve sat in unheated and un-air-conditioned rooms for hours recording people just so fans wouldn’t kick on.
